What are the goals of Friends of Paradise Lake?
“It is the goal of the Friends of Paradise lake to identify foreign invasive species, both plant and animal, which impact our lake ecosystem in a negative manner and to put in place a systematic plan of action to control such species to the point where it no longer threatens the environmental quality nor interferes with
the recreational enjoyment of the lake and its watershed. In accordance with the above, it is the intent of this organization to formulate a course of action to strive to reduce the current acreage of Eurasian Watermilfoil (EWM) by 90% within a five year period and to put into place positive control measures consistent with protecting our lake ecosystem including native plants and fishery.”
